My neighbor is married to a corporate photographer who works with many political leaders too.  His job is very interesting and takes him to all sorts of great places, meeting lots of important people.  He recently photographed the governor at the capital and the picture was in the newspaper.  The next week, he shot some photos for Nike that were used in an advertisement.  I’m thinking of quitting my job and taking some photography classes, or some other creative type of education, my life needs some action, just like my neighbor.

I have tried to buy guitars before in my life, but I have never been able to play one that sounds as good as the one that I have right now. I just want to do everything the way I need to do it so that I can make it sound even better. I am going to take an acoustic guitar lesson, and do everything the best way I know how. This is why I am going to make sure to take the time to do what I need to do. I know my guitar will just sound amazing this way. 

Long drives on the freeway can be a bit dull at times. As a truck driver, I spend a lot of time driving from city to city. Sometimes I travel for an entire week before getting back to my home. I find that it is a good idea to have some great music to listen to while I am on the road.

Lately my music of choice has been Coldplay music. I really enjoy listing to their albums in my CD player. The upbeat tempo of some of their hit songs helps to take the dullness out of the long drives. Coldplay is one of my favorite bands.

Awhile back I went to a poetry reading at a coffee house, and the funniest thing happend.  The poem the poet was reading was terrible, in fact it was probably some of the worst that I’ve ever heard, but he had a guy with him playing a cheap acoustic guitar and I have to say that the music was pretty great.  It’s not very often that the accompanyment to something is better than the main show.  I mean this guy wasn’t just playing basic chords, he was all over the fret board, and doing some pretty intricate stuff.  It was pretty interesting.

I know there are a lot of things that I want to do in life, but one that is on the top of my list is to learn lead guitar. The reason that I want it to do that is because I just love music so much that I want to be able to play on my own. I know that it will be something that I will be able to do at some point in my life, so for now, I am just going to keep trying until I really start getting the hang of it. I know I can do it.
